Having a solid group of fellow designers in my corner has gotten me through the highest highs and lowest lows of building this business. I'm lucky enough to have met the ladies featured below through a design retreat in early 2020, and we've all stayed in very close touch ever since! I don't think a day goes by that I'm not texting at least one of them, if not the whole group, to talk through issues, vent frustrations, or share resources to move all of our businesses forward.
I've never met a more caring group of women, and I count my blessings every day that we still maintain really strong relationships, even though we are scattered all over the country.
Any time we can get together, we jump at the chance! Here's a group of us making our run through market - good walking shoes in tow for all of us. Our next get together is actually coming up shortly - one of our lovely ladies is getting married, and we will all get to reunite to celebrate Blair + her soon to be husband!
I'm so grateful for every single one of them, and I can't wait to hug and dance and celebrate at the wedding in a few weeks! Also so excited that all of the husbands get to meet each other finally too. Brian has met most of these women already, and it will be so fun to meet the other halves!

They are all a testament to the power of attending in person conferences and retreats to meet more people within your own industry. The investment can be high initially, but you truly don't know who you'll meet, or what will move your path forward! Take a chance, and put yourself out there!
