Buckle up - we're revealing the exterior transformation of Gray Malin's Getaway House today! If you missed the first and second floor, have a look here and here and come back over to wrap up this project with us. Keep scrolling for the last of the coastal getaway goodness!

This house had plenty of curb appeal before, but there was a big opportunity to go more native with the plant life and save water with alternatives to the lawn, as well as setting up furniture for moments of connection among guests.

The bright white paint of the new exterior gave us the perfect blank canvas to work with, and the Benjamin Moore Water's Edge color on the shutters and doors really pops and sets the tone for the interior as well.
The lawn and red bricks have been replaced with softer mulch and bluestone walkways, and a beautiful collection of native plants and olive trees that will only grow more over time. We have to shout out Amy Blakemore of Greens Landscape Design, who knocked it out of the park with the landscaping out here!

Plus we added a bocce court and a fire pit with these great striped fabric chairs!

Just to the right of those areas, we had a good amount of space to add fun touches of coral and blue in the lounge seating and dining area. This space may change in the future, as they are deciding when to add a pool, but for now, you can host quite the party over here!

It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint and new shutters can do for an exterior facade! We kept the layout of four loungers from the previous owners, but also added the cream and coral umbrellas and coral rounded bolsters to give a nod to the Coral Casino that Gray has photographed here locally in Santa Barbara.

Knowing that a pool will be coming in the future, the space out here was a beautiful canvas to work with!

In order to keep this layout flexible, we used two large dining tables pushed together to make a long 14 seater table. Once the pool is in, these can be pulled apart and relocated to work around the new space.
The coral sofas and chairs always put a smile on my face, and provide a nice change from the cool blue and green tones we used throughout the project too.

This side yard had so much potential to be more filled out with seating for a large group, and that we did...
We continued with the texture we weaved throughout the interior into the seating in the yard, adding lounge seating for five and two separate dining areas for four. I can feel that coastal breeze on my face looking at these photos again!
