Team Intros: Meet Julie

Welcome to our third installment of team intros! Today we're getting to know our Project Manager, Julie, the newest member of the team. Julie has been on the team now for about three months, but it feels like much longer! She had applied back when we hired another project manager, and logistics and proximity led to going in another direction. Julie was excellent about following up and popping into my inbox at the perfect time when we needed another project manager! Persistence really will make or break an opportunity, and Julie is a perfect example of that. I'm excited to see her grow with our team as she trains and transitions from a different industry, so let's see what she thinks about working for MND and how she spends her off time!

What's your go-to drink of choice?

Julie: Warm Drink - Aveda Comfort Tea; Cold Drink - Blenders Red Pineapple (without Banana) Blenders

What is the best item you've purchased in the past 3 months?

Julie: For travel, I love the Cotopaxi Backpack - the butterfly opening makes it one of my favorite carry on bags. You can see everything and it carries so much! Also, they are a company that cares about ethical manufacturing and creating sustainable outdoor gear.

Where do you love spending your Saturday?

Julie: Going to the farmers market, brunch, reading, going for a walk or just being outside

What's your personal home style?

Julie: A mix of midcentury and coastal casual. I love clean lines, light and airy spaces, and displaying a few meaningful pieces of decor or artwork in each room.

How did you get into interior design?

Julie: The majority of my career, prior to working in interior design, I spent working in higher education administration, but always found a great sense of fulfillment working in highly creative work environments. Because of this, I recently took the leap to pursue interior design as a long term career path, and so far I am loving it!

What's your favorite part of working at Madison Nicole Design?

Julie: To be surrounded by beautiful things and to create beautiful spaces is incredibly rewarding to me. Also, I really love the team I work with at MND!

Interesting fact or story that not everyone knows?
